EV in Event
Production mode
EV Production
provided all the technical facilities for the staging of the first
Creative Norfolk Awards evening - a prestigious media industry
event, compered by Mel Smith, and including contributions from
key industry figures such as Greg Dyke and performers Leslie Phillips
and Stephen Fry.
Computer controlled
robotic lights were used to add glamour and sparkle to the large
venue which was dressed with star cloths, and which sat 300 guests
to dinner. EV provided 3D animations of corporate logos in High
Definition and projected them onto a wide-screen (3m X 7M) display.
Wide-screen
projectors were flown from a temporary scaffolding structure high
above the guests, along with three of the computer controlled
Vari-lights and a top-shot minicam. Video and animation play-in
was directed from a location studio gallery, set up back-stage,
with stereo audio mixing of video inserts, music and radio mikes.
Live multi-camera coverage of the awards presentations and speeches
was projected onto the top screen.
The entire evening ran without a technical hitch and was described
by the press as " A sparkling occasion."
