"Better Boating On The Broads"

Post-production has recently finished for a brand new educational DVD for holiday-makers and visitors to the Norfolk Broads.

"Better Boating On The Broads" imaginatively combines both education and instruction in this broadcast quality, multi-lingual video. In the video, presenter Paul Gogarty takes viewers on an exciting journey through the broads, exploring the beautiful scenery and wildlife, meeting the people who live and work on the broads, and learning valuable health and safety information, do's and don'ts, and boating maneouvres along the way.

Extreme Video was responsible for design and production of the entire project from planning and scripting through production, post-production and dupilcation using our in-house DVD printing and duplication centre. During production Extreme Video utilised its access to and knowledge of a wide variety of specialist equipment and methods, which include underwater cameras, mini cameras, the Extreme Video helicopter for aerial footage, and an experienced technical and production team containing members with RYA ICC qualifications. The DVD was authored in-house with sub-titles in five different languages, and a seperate menu chaptered instructional section of boating manoeuvres for optimal functionality and accessibility.
