Extreme Video got creative and went the whole hog with this docu-fund-raiser DVD. A prime example of our large-scale events coverage capabilities, this project grew from being a modest reportage of a weekends events to a full scale multi-faceted documentary.

The brief was to provide video footage of the aerial shows over Lowestoft seafront on a DVD which would be sold to raise money to fund the following years festival. However Extreme Video soon saw the potential to make this into something much more interesting, and grabbed the opportunity to produce an exciting and informative feature with much greater appeal.

Extreme Video got it's mini-cam crew on the case, rigging cameras on wings and in cockpits to bring back hair-raising footage of incredible stunts and aerial acrobatics. We set up cameras on the pier and the beach to capture the show from the ground, and to add to the excitement we sent a ground crew to shoot featurettes on the performers. We interviewed everyone from world class stunt pilots to wing walkers to the worlds only female Spitfire pilot.

And to top it all off we scripted a voiceover, comissioned an original score, and cut it all together in-house to produce a 60 minute spectacle of high-action sequeces, unique interviews and heart rendering featurettes. And we even sourced footage form the East Anglian News Archive for a chapter on the history of the festival.
